Peer-Review Process
Foresight and Public Health follows a double-blind, anonymous peer-review process, where neither the authors nor the reviewers are aware of each other’s identities. This ensures unbiased and objective evaluation of all submitted manuscripts.
The peer-review process consists of the following stages:
- Initial Editorial Screening: Manuscripts are reviewed by the editorial board to assess their relevance, originality, and adherence to journal guidelines.
- Assignment to Reviewers: Each manuscript is sent to two or three independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.
- Review and Feedback: Reviewers evaluate the manuscript’s quality, methodology, significance, and clarity, providing detailed feedback and recommendations.
- Editorial Decision: Based on reviewers’ reports, the editor makes a final decision: accept, revise, or reject.
- Author Revisions: If revisions are required, authors must respond to reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript for further evaluation.
- Final Acceptance and Publication: After satisfactory revisions, the manuscript is accepted, formatted, and published online.
Our rigorous peer-review system ensures the publication of high-quality, credible, and impactful research. The whole process may take up to 8 weeks.
